You pay half, not all. The other half is due only when the site is built and you have seen it on a link. Twenty-three people have left their real names on a Google review saying how it went, and you can click through to their businesses and message them yourself.
Look at the six sites above and decide for yourself — then read the twenty-three reviews. My own site is the only portfolio I have, so shipping thin work would cost me more than it saves.

No. You get the logins to everything on launch day and a short video showing how to change your own text, prices and photos. Plenty of clients never need me again. Some come back two years later, which is the part I am proud of.
Because once I start, the days are spent and I cannot get them back. What you get instead is a fixed price and a fixed date agreed in writing before a rupee moves, and a link to the finished site before you pay the second half. If you do not approve it, you do not pay the balance.
